How to install VMFA-323 Textures into default Hornet

1 - Copy/Paste "texture.xx" into FSX/SIMOBJECTS/AIRPLANES/FA-18 main directory.
2 - Renaming the ".xx" with the next consecutive number available (ie, standard install w/no other
repaints, rename the folder TEXTURE.14).
2 - Open "aircraft.cfg" file and under aircrafts, input this:

[fltsim.xx] //recommend [fltsim.14] if no other paints/variants installed
title=FA-18 VMFA-323
sim=FA-18
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=xx // recommend "14" if no other paints/variants installed

description="The Hornet combines the ruggedness required of carrier-borne aircraft with speed and superior agility, especially at high angles of attack. Its powerful engines, canted vertical stabilizers, horizontal stabilators, large leading- and trailing-edge flaps, and sophisticated flight control system all contribute to a level of performance that makes the Hornet a versatile front-line fighter in several air forces around the world."

To verify correct installation in the Sludge Hornets (Basic and FX), ensure TEXTURE.CFG file in
the SLUDGEFA18_BASIC(and FX)/TEXTURE.VMFA-323 folder reads as such:

1 - On "fallback.1=" ensure the "texture.xx" is the same as what you named it in the default Hornet.
IE, if you named it [fltsim.14] and the folder is "texture.14", then the first fallback should
read: "fallback.1=..\..\FA-18\texture.14"

This texture should now be available for both the default F-18 and the Sludge Hornets.

Much thanks to Ray Gagnon for this very excellent work.
